SSI’s 2017 Physical-Cyber Security Survey
Nearly three in four dealers/integrators are checking their companies for network vulnerability, while exactly the opposite number is doing same for their customers. The biggest change (+3 percent-age points) was informing manufacturers when they encounter susceptible products.
The returns are more encouraging here than a year ago, with those respondents indicating C-level decision-makers are allocating more budget dollars to cyber vs. physical security dropping from 6.62 to 6.58.
A positive shift is shown here with physical security snatching another 6 percentage points of the pie to double up cybersecurity as end users’ highest priority.
