Congratulations to UNC Health Care Director of Hospital Police and Transportation Lisa Terry on being named one of our finalists.
Some of her notable achievements include:
- A Unified Security and Video System (VICTOR) has been added to one server, providing UNC with the ability to view all of its cameras from multiple sites. With over 2,200 cameras, this ability has helped investigations and improved the overall security of the hospital and its outlying clinics.
- Restructured the general employee orientation, updated the department website so it’s more user friendly and built a Facebook and Twitter page for the department.
- Began sending all security officers to the Homeland Security Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) with the goal of having all UNC officers trained in the basic healthcare incident command and response through the CDP by January 2017.
