Public safety software provider Spillman Technologies changed the name of its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product to Spillman Nova as part of the software’s latest enhancement release. Nova gives campus public safety agencies a single system for managing RMS, Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Jail Management (JMS) and Civil Process that can be accessed on any device with internet connection. Spillman replaces the cost of maintaining a database with a subscription pricing model. The company’s software is used by more than 1,400 agencies of all sizes in 41 states around the country.
