Sex Offender Banned from New Hampshire College Seeks Restraining Order

Published: September 29, 2008

DURHAM, N.H. – A registered sex offender who was banned from the University of New Hampshire (UNH) campus is seeking a restraining order against campus police, according to WMUR.

Per UNH officials, Bert Allen III was distributing fliers throughout campus seeking a “trophy wife.” The “trophy wife” needed to have a passport, a good smile and an open mind.

Though it was not illegal to pass out the fliers, campus police said the material was offensive and violated policies.

Allen claims that campus police threatened and attacked him. He is expected in court Oct. 7 to discuss the restraining order.
