Serial Rapist May Be Targeting Women at Kansas State

Published: September 6, 2007

KANSAS CITY, Kansas – Near the Kansas State University campus, seven women have been attacked over the last seven years. Police suspect that one serial rapist may have committed all seven attacks, including the one that happened last month.

Police have released crime prevention tips in response to the attacks, to promote safety on the campus of 23,000 students. Flyers have been handed out on campus, instructing female students on how they can protect themselves. Tips include keeping doors and windows locked, and always walking with a friend.

Since the man wears a mask, police do not have a composite or any leads to follow.
