Security Officer Struck in Head by Suspect

SHASTA LAKE, Calif. — A security officer from Central Valley High School was hospitalized Thursday after he was allegedly struck in the head by a man near campus.

The officer was patrolling property near the high school when a man confronted him and threw an object at the officer’s head, KRCR reports.

The suspect has not yet been apprehended.
