Security Guard Busted With Drugs at Ill. School

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — A Lincoln Middle School security guard has been charged with possessing marijuana with the intent of delivering it on school grounds.

Police arrested 29-year-old Alvin Golliday on Friday, after authorities used detection dogs to search the school for drugs. Authorities discovered 97 grams of marijuana, a digital scale and a box of sandwich bags in Golliday’s vehicle, the Associated Press reports.

It is unclear if Golliday was planning to sell to students or faculty.
