SAN DIEGO – SD City Event Inc. is accused of taking more than $52,000 in sports ticket revenue from San Diego area high schools.
The security company owes the Sweetwater Union High School District and Scripps Ranch High School for ticket money it collected for games from 2002 to 2004 but never turned over to the campuses. Sweetwater District is due $37,200 and Scripps Ranch High is due more than $15,000.
SD City Event filed for bankruptcy the week of March 31 and owes more than $1.3 million to nearly 100 other creditors.
