Seattle Schools to Start Earthquake Safety Construction Work
SEATTLE — Seattle Public Schools has received almost $700 million to complete construction work at schools to improve building safety during an earthquake.
The district will use $694.9 million obtained through the Building Excellence IV Capital Levy to complete construction work for at least 34 schools from 2013 to 2020, King5.com reports.
