School Security Guard Arrested for Indecent Contact With Student
HOUSTON — A Houston Independent School District (HISD) security guard is facing indecency charges for allegedly touching an 11-year-old student inappropriately.
The victim told police that 28-year-old Devin Delarosa, began fondling her when she was a fifth-grader at Burbank Elementary School. The suspect would allegedly take the victim into a closet in his office and tell her he was searching for drugs. The improper behavior continued when the student became a sixth grade student at Burbank Middle School, Click2Houston.com reports.
According to Delarosa’s personnel file, this isn’t the first reported incident. Several female students at Austin High School also claim the security guard touched them unprofessionally, while parents with children at the middle school also accused Delarosa of inappropriate contact with female students.
For his part, Delarosa has denied all allegations.
