CARSON, Calif. — Ten additional school police cars were patrolling Carson High School following a courtyard brawl in which eight students were injured.
Thirty students participated in the melee on March 7, which took place during a midmorning snack break, the Associated Press reports. The cause of the fight is still under investigation.
Four students were taken to the hospital and another four were treated by a school nurse. Seven students were arrested or suspended.
