Registration Now Open for the 2023 Campus Safety Conferences!

Campus Safety is pleased to announce that registration for this summer’s 10th annual Campus Safety Conferences is now open.

Taking place in Henderson, Nevada, July 10-12, and Dallas, Texas, July 31-August 2, the Campus Safety Conferences (CSC) are intensive educational and training events for those involved in protecting our nation’s schools and institutions of higher education. The CSCs feature critical safety and security sessions for K-12 and college campuses, full-day, hands-on-learning workshops, 50+ product and solution providers, and extensive opportunities to network with campus peers from across the country.

If you are responsible for technology, public safety, facilities management, emergency management, IT, risk management, or administration on an educational campus, the Campus Safety Conferences are for you!

The CSCs are presented by Campus Safety and are the premier events in the K-12 and high education protection community. These events provide attendees with the resources and training they need to bolster preparedness, communication, and response prior to, during, and after a variety of safety and security situations.

The theme for the 2023 Campus Safety Conferences is “Prepare to Prevent.” By sharing experiences and leading practices, the CSCs can help your college or school/district add to its safety toolkit and better prevent, respond to, mitigate, and recover from incidents.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • Staff recruitment and retention
  • Working with school safety task forces and committees
  • Emergency drills for staff, students, and parents
  • Mental/behavioral health/suicide prevention
  • Officer wellness programs
  • Cybersecurity awareness and assessments
  • Threat assessment training
  • Crisis communication
  • Clery compliance
  • Access control
