Police Seek Suspect in School Bus Altercation

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Richmond County Department of School Safety and Security is searching for a suspect in connection to an altercation with a school bus driver that took place Jan. 25.

According to police, Robert Corey Williams Sr. flagged down the bus and asked the driver to drop off his child in the Dollar General parking lot, The Augusta Chronicle reports. The driver refused, because doing so would violate safety protocol.

Williams reportedly punched the bus window and tried to pull the driver out of the bus.
