Police Investigate Possible Sex Crime on School Bus

RAPID CITY, S.D., Police believe a female student was paid to have sex with several football players from Sioux Falls High School on Sept. 30.

The incident, which allegedly occurred on a school bus traveling home from a football game, is being investigated by the State Department of Criminal Investigation. Seven students have been suspended and charges could be filed against the girl for prostitution. One of the players, who is 18, could also be arrested for statutory rape.

Team coaches reportedly were asleep in the front of the bus when the incident occurred. A teacher called police after seeing students watching the incident on a video phone.
