Police Arrest Parent Who Videotaped School Security Gaps

EAST HAVEN, Conn. – Angelo Appi Jr. turned himself into police on Tuesday after a warrant for his arrest was issued by police. He faces second-degree breach of peace charges.

Appi, who works for a local security firm, released videos describing Joseph Melillo Middle School’s security lapses, such as unlocked doors, reports the Middletown Press. He also videotaped himself walking around the campus without being questioned by campus staff.

The videos were posted on Facebook and outraged some parents.
