LANCASTER, Calif., Two former Quartz Hill High School students have been arrested for planning a Valentine’s Day massacre at their former Alma Mater.
The teenagers, ages 15 and 17, were arrested Dec. 15 after police searched their homes and found ammunitions, knives, a gas mask and instructions on how to make bombs.
Authorities say that both of the suspects were transferred from Quartz Hill to other schools due to disciplinary issues.
According to AP, the boys told investigators that like the students who carried out the Columbine massacre several years ago, they planned to kill Quartz Hill students who had made fun of them. After killing their targets, investigators say, the suspects indicated they would commit suicide.
Deputies also had a notebook from the15-year-old suspect with the message “When I’m God, everyone dies” scrawled in it. There also was a three-ring binder with photos of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, Charles Manson and the two boys who carried out the Columbine High School killings.
