Philly Woman Poses as Nurse, Molests Child

PHILADELPHIA — A woman has been charged with simple assault, indecent assault and related offenses after she allegedly molested a boy while posing as a nurse at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.

Ashley Delvalle, 24, was at the facility with her own child Tuesday, when she went into several other patients’ rooms, telling parents she was a nurse and that she would be performing physical exams, NBC Philadelphia reports. Police said the suspect inappropriately touched one of the children and took the weight of another.

Hospital personnel learned about the incident after the victim’s mother contacted them. Officials later contacted police and the Department of Human Services.
