A nurse in a Texas Medical Center facility was arrested after a patient accused him of rape.

Methodist Hospital nurse Allen Uribe, 27, is accused of raping the female patient during her stay at the hospital last June.

The 45-year-old woman told police Uribes began fondling her groin area while tending to her IV line. The woman says she “froze” during the alleged assault.

When Uribes left the room, the woman told a staff member what happened and Houston police were called.

A rape kit and DNA tests backed up the victim’s story, reports wtsp.com.

Uribes was arrested and has denied the allegations. He was charged with sexual assault of an adult.

Methodist Hospital officials say Uribes was fired immediately after they learned of the charges.

Police believe there may be other victims and are urging people to contact the Houston Police Department’s special victims unit.

Uribe posted $30,000 bond and was released from jail.
