Pa. High School Implements ‘No-Fragrance’ Policy

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Freedom High School has asked students to stop wearing Axe Body Spray after one pupil suffered a life-threatening allergic reaction.

The student, whose name was not released, was taken to a nearby hospital Wednesday after being exposed to the fragrance at school. He has recovered from the incident, although he has not yet returned to class, ABC News reports.

Freedom High Principal Michael LaPorta noted that it would be hard to enforce the no-fragrance policy, but hopes students will use sound judgment.
