PALMETTO, Fla. — OSHA filed a lawsuit against Renaissance Arts and Education, Inc., which operates Manatee School for the Arts, to reinstate a former employee. The suit claims the employee was terminated for reporting safety concerns.

The U.S. Department of Labor filed the lawsuit under the federal Whistleblower Protection Act. The suit seeks a permanent injunction to prevent future violations of OSHA, plus reinstatement of the employee with full benefits, back wages and damages.
