1 Worker Dead, 3 Hurt in School Construction Collapse

A collapse at a construction site at Argyle High School killed one worker and injured three more.

A man is dead and three others are hurt after a massive structure collapse at a school in Texas.

The activities center of Argyle High School near Dallas was under construction April 2 when a steel frame collapsed, according to cbsnews.com.

The accident happened roughly an hour before classes began, and no students or parents were hurt. A construction worker died and three more were injured, although police released no more information about the victims.

Authorities are still trying to determine what caused the collapse at the school, which is about 20 miles north of Fort Worth.

Classes resumed Thursday on their normal schedule.
