Officials Issue Warnings After Man Posts Student Photos On Facebook

DETROIT, Mich.- Facebook pictures of local female students in bathing suits were copied and posted on a Facebook profile registered in the Middle East, motivating school officials to warn students and parents about social networking safety.

Letters have been sent home to students and parents from Novi High School, Stevenson High School and Ladywood High School following the incident. The profile in question belongs to Salem Issa, a man who has been sending friend requests to female students, Free Press reports.

Police are unable to move forward in the investigation, as no actual crime has been committed.
