Two security officers at an Oakland high school have been suspended after allegedly beating a student.

In January the two security officers for Fremont High School were caught on video allegedly shoving a student, placing him in a chokehold then punching him, according to the Associated Press.

Fremont High Superintendent Antwan Wilson addressed the incident Friday after reviewing the video. There is currently no information regarding the length of the suspension.
