A 15-year-old boy was arrested after police found stockpiles of gasoline, propane, fuses and a machete in his home. The boy allegedly planned an attack on the anniversary of the Columbine High mass shootings.
The unidentified boy is being held in a psychiatric hospital, according to Fox News. The teen allegedly told police he planned to attack his former school, Monroe-Woodbury High School, on April 20. He was also trying to buy an assault rifle. Other items found in the boy’s house included a torch and a black trench coat.
The teen was recently transferred to another school but still had grudges against former classmates that had bullied him, according to the news report. Police believe the boy was acting alone.
