A Mease-Dunedin Hospital nurse is being hailed a hero after disarming an angry patient inside the hospital’s critical care unit.
Cindy Shaw removed the loaded gun from the patient after he pointed it at another nurse. Hospital security had detained the patient before deputies arrived on scene.
