Northwestern Soccer Players Apologize For Hazing Scandal

CHICAGO – Several members of the Northwestern University women’s soccer team have issued a statement apologizing for the controversy caused by a recent alleged hazing incident.

The team was suspended May 15 after officials discovered photos posted on BadJocks.com of several players wearing T-shirts and underwear, performing simulated sex acts. The school is investigating the alleged incident. Hazing is prohibited at Northwestern University.

The written apology was printed in the Daily Northwestern, the school newspaper.
