A newborn at the Nashville General Hospital in Tennessee was reunited with its mother after a would-be kidnapper was stopped by the hospital’s automatic security system.

The woman, posing as a nurse, removed the infant from the mother’s room and attempted to flee the hospital. The security system automatically went into lock-down mode after the woman tried to leave the maternity floor.

Staff was able to act promptly, arrest the woman, and return the baby to its mother.
