New NFPA 72 Code for Fire & CO Detection Alarms

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) just updated its code on fire and CO detection alarms for sleeping locations. Campuses in jurisdictions that have adopted the new NFPA 72 code will now be required to install these new types of sounders, which do a better job of alerting individuals when there is a fire or carbon monoxide event. In this video, Marla Moran from Eaton’s Cooper Notification company chats with Campus Safety Magazine and demonstrates how her company’s new fire and CO alarms work.
