New Editor Joins CS Team

TORRANCE, CALIF.—Campus Safety announces the hiring of Nick Schultz to the position of associate editor. Schultz will report to Editor-in-Chief Scott Goldfine and Publisher Michael Zawinski.

Foremost among his assignments will be managing the daily demands of online publishing for both Campus Safety and Security Sales & Integration.

Since graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in English, Schultz has spent his entire career in magazine publishing. In 2000, he cut his teeth as an editorial assistant with a computer technology trade magazine publisher. He later moved on to Primedia and its consumer automotive enthusiast magazines. An amateur “car guy” at best, he expanded his publishing scope to copy editing and production management while working on magazines such as Hot Bike, Street Chopper, Super Chevy and Classic Trucks.

“We are pleased to welcome Nick to the growing SSI team,” says Goldfine. “He brings a lot of ability and enthusiasm to our operations. We are all eager to watch Nick immerse himself in the electronic security industry and invigorate our many online publishing products.”

Schultz may be contacted at (310) 533-2532 or [email protected].
