LINCOLN, Neb. – Campus police at the University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL) will now patrol the campus on electric scooters.
In order to save on fuel costs, the department purchased four Segway scooters; however officers will still patrol the area with vehicles and bikes. Additionally, the Segways will make the officers more accessible to students.
