N.D. Teen Apologizes, Shoots Self in Class

A freshman of Fairmont Public School walked to the front of his class, made an apology and then shot himself on Oct. 11, reports CNN.

A teacher rendered first aid to the boy, who was then taken to the hospital.

The school has 112 students and is located in a rural North Dakota town.  Officials don’t know why the teen was upset or apologetic.
