More New Jersey Schools To Buy 2-Way Radios

GARWOOD, N.J. – Union County (N.J.) schools will receive a grant for $235,000 from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to purchase two-way radios.

The devices, which will be stored in the principals’ offices will link them to police dispatchers. About 215 public and private schools in the county are slated to receive the radios.
