Minnesota Teens Charged with Sexual Assault

Published: June 24, 2008

MINNEAPOLIS – Two teenage males have been charged with third-degree sexual assault at Henry High School in separate incidents. The two can face more charges, as police believe there are more victims who are afraid to come forward.

Both Santwoine Thorton, 17, and Raevon Conner, 18, were accused of forcing girls to perform oral sex.

A 15-year-old student told police June 4 that a male student forced her to have sex with him in a basement stairway. Shortly after, Conner was arrested. As police investigated the situation, they found three more victims under the age of 17 who had been attacked before June 4. Thorton then became a second suspect.

Parents are advised to discuss the incidents with their children and contact police if there is any information about additional attacks.
