Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban will deliver a keynote address during the September 25 opening luncheon at the 63rd Annual ASIS Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2017) in Dallas.

Cuban, owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and a host on the hit TV show “Shark Tank,” will discuss his approach to the myriad challenges inherent in securing his physical, data and information assets, according to ASIS. He will also share his perspective on the disruptive potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, the proliferation of connected devices, as well as the effect of the current economic and political climate on the security community.

“Every year ASIS brings the security community together to share ideas and experiences that help attendees better understand global trends and their security implications,” says ASIS CEO Peter J. O’Neil.

“Mark Cuban’s innovations as owner of the Mavericks along with his entrepreneurial, boundary-pushing achievements make him a natural fit for our keynote lineup. His address will help set the stage for the week of learning ahead.”
