On May 29 Police arrested a man they say has sexually assaulted several women around the Boston University campus area.
According to police 26-year-old Steven Lent of Brighton, Mass., has sexually assaulted at least five women in the last year while posing as a jogger. Lent was charged with one count of rape and three counts of incident assault and battery.
Police distributed images of the suspect that were caught on the school’s video surveillance cameras.
Lent is accused of raping a woman on Aug. 14, 2014, grabbing multiple women in other incidents and exposing himself, according to patch.com. All of the known victims were Boston University students and all of the crimes happened within a mile of Lent’s apartment. Boston University’s campus buildings are located around Boston.
Lent was arrested while leaving his apartment and held on $50,000 bail after his arraignment. He is due back in court July 14.
