Man Wearing Hospital Gown Shot, Killed By Police

TORONTO, Ont. — A man dressed in a hospital gown and armed with two pairs of scissors died Feb. 3 after being shot by police. It is possible he had been taken under escort to East York General Hospital earlier.

The man reportedly showed up at a house demanding entry, and then wandered away after being denied admittance, 680 News reports. Police located the man on a neighboring street, where he allegedly confronted an officer.

The man was shot three times.
