RAPID CITY, S.D. – A man, who was hit with a stun gun during a July incident at Rapid City Regional Hospital, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct for his role in the incident.
When the incident occurred in July, Nick Breining was seeking treatment for a sore throat. After Breining’s constant and involuntary drumming of his hands annoyed a nurse, he was told to leave the facility.
However, security officers had to subdue Breining with a stun gun. After his arrest, Breining said he had Tourette Syndrome.
Breining was ordered not to return to the facility for six months. Additionally, he had to pay a fine and court costs.
