DES MOINES, Iowa — Police arrested a man at Mercy Franklin Center for kicking a hospital staff member in her shin because she wouldn’t let him drink a soda in the area he was at in the facility.
After the victim told Jason Saylor, 43, that drinking soda in the area was prohibited, he allegedly tried to punch her, ultimately kicking her in the shin, the Des Moines Register reports.
A guard later locked Saylor in a room, where he urinated on the bed and clogged the toilet with a roll of toilet paper, causing flooding. Saylor has been charged with assault causing injury.
