Police: Father Abducted Daughter From Hospital
ST. LOUIS — A father who allegedly abducted his teenage daughter from SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center was arrested Feb. 12.
Dana Jones was caught by a security camera undoing his 14-year-old daughter’s IV fluid and leading her out of the hospital, KSDK.com reports. Jones’ daughter was in the custody of the Illinois’ Department of Children and Family Services when she was taken.
It is not clear why the girl was allowed to leave the hospital with her non-custodial father. Hospital officials are currently reviewing the incident.
