Lightning Sparks Fire at Mount St. Mary’s U. Chapel
EMMITSBURG, Md. — A fire at a chapel at Mount Saint Mary’s University has caused nearly $1 million in damages.
According to a fire marshal’s preliminary report, the blaze to the university’s Chapel of the Immaculate Conception was caused by lightning, your4state.com reports. No one was injured during the incident.
