Keyscan Inc. of Whitby, Ontario, unveils its K-DVR, a hybrid 16 channel digital video recorder.
The K-DVR features 1TB of in-unit storage capacity and the ability of adding external NAS storage. It is able to display 480 pictures per second in real time. Built into every K-DVR is Triplex+TM. Triplex+ allows live viewing, playback, or network viewing while the K-DVR still records on all 16 channels. The K-DVR can also trigger alarms with its on-board relay outputs and sound a warning with its audible buzzer. For added flexibility, the K-DVR supports up to four IP cameras.
