Published: December 29, 2009

Lexington, Mass.-based Kantech’s Telephone Entry System is an integrated telephone entry intercom and access control panel is designed for applications including multi-tenant apartment buildings and commercial offices. For small sites, the system comes complete with a simplified version of the EntraPass software for system configuration and firmware upgrades, as well as live transaction monitoring, tenant list modification, and system back up.

The system is housed in a weather- and vandal-resistant housing built to withstand both the harshest of environmental conditions and unauthorized attempts to gain access to the system. The 4-line, 20-character LCD with high-contrast and backlighting is designed for easy viewing. Visitors can select a tenant from a 3,000-capacity list and can grant or deny access fro a land line or mobile phone.
