The George Mason University Police Department is hosting its annual College and University Police and Investigators Conference (CUPIC) in Fairfax, Va., Aug. 6-9.
This free conference focuses on unique aspects of law enforcement and security needs for colleges and universities. This year’s conference will be held at the Hyatt Fairfax in Fair Lakes, Va.
Topics covered will include Penn State’s response to a major media driven event, hostage negotiations and campus law enforcement response to sexual misconduct. Select exhibitors will be presenting their goods and services, and the event will also include breakout sessions.
