Henrico County, Virginia – A Greensville Correctional Center inmate escaped the supervision of two prison security officers at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital early Saturday morning.
The forensic patient, Naseem Roulack, 21, had been transported to St. Mary’s hospital last week for medical treatment. He walked out of the hospital at about 5:42 a.m., reports ABC News. There are no further details on exactly how he was able to get away from the two officers guarding him.
Roulack is believed to be wearing a gray t-shirt with black shorts and either a white towel or sheet on his head, reports WTVR. According to authorities, he was also carrying a backpack or bag. The medical gown and restraints Roulack was wearing when he left the hospital were found by the police shortly after his escape.
He has an extensive criminal background and is serving a 13-year sentence for aggravated malicious wounding, grand larceny, and hit and run.
A Facebook post by the Virginia State Police describe Roulack as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. He’s 5’8” and weighs 225 lbs. He has a “Cut Throat” tattoo on his right cheek as well as “RIP ish” on his left arm. His nick name is “Lil Nas.” He is considered dangerous by authorities because of his several firearms convictions.
Immediately after Roulack’s escape, St. Mary’s went into lockdown and local Richmond residents were told to shelter in place.
State and local K-9 tracking crews, patrols and aviation are participating in the search.
