Indiana School District OKs $500K in Security Improvements
PORTAGE, Ind. – The Portage Township School Board has approved $514,276 worth of security upgrades.
The improvements, which are the final phase of an overall safety upgrade program, will include a card access control system and exterior cameras. The key card system should be completed by January 2007. Card access has already been installed in the district’s elementary and middle schools.
