Indiana Governor OKs Grants for School Security
Last week Gov. Mike Pence signed into law a bill defining school resource officer (SRO) training requirements and establishing a school safety grant program.
Senate Enrolled Act 1 provides matching grants up to $50,000 for school security improvements and threat assessments, reports WDRB. It also develops best practices for SROs.
