Ind. Schools Form School Safety Commission
MUNCIE, Ind. — Schools, law enforcement and emergency agencies in Delaware County have formed a school safety commission.
The Delaware County Safe School Commission will create an emergency plan that includes input from schools, first responders, hospitals and more. The group allows members of each sector to share ideas, The Star Press reports.
By forming the commission, all Delaware County schools are eligible for grant money from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
