Illinois School District Installs Surveillance System

WILMETTE, Ill.

Wilmette Public School District 39 in Illinois is taking advantage of the summer months by installing 16 digital security cameras around the exterior of the Wilmette Junior High School and Mikaelian Education Center.

The school board awarded a $52,077 contract to Cal Communications Inc. of Buffalo Grove, Ill., according to Wilmette-Life.com.

The surveillance system was designed in cooperation with the local police department.
