An Illinois assistant principal has been charged with multiple crimes after allegedly sexually abusing a student in his office Jan. 12.
Joseph Simone, 43, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and aggravated battery after a 16-year-old student at Bremen High School reported that Simone made inappropriate physical contact with her, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Simone allegedly made the contact as the student stretched in his office during the school day. The student reported that Simone pushed himself against her and placed his hand on her stomach and thigh.
