BOSTON – The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) and the Boston chapter will host the 39th Annual
General Membership Meeting and Seminar Program June 24-27.
Held at the Park Plaza Hotel,an educational program has been planned to help the healthcare security and safety professional cope with the challenges facing the industry today. Nationally-known speakers and personalities both inside and outside the profession are ready to enhance and expand attendees’ vision for the future.
The formal program begins with an opening reception in the exhibit hall on Sunday, June 24. Event organizers anticipate they will havemore than 50 exhibitors from throughout the industrywith state-of-the-art services and technology expertise. Over the next two and a half days, participants will learn and grow from presentations by some of the most prolific leaders in healthcare, government, lawenforcement, management, legal, regulatory compliance,and security professions.
The subject matter of the educational program is both pertinentand timely for healthcare security and safety professionals,focusing on such topics as the impact of terrorism, liabilityissues impacting security and safety, conflict resolution,violence in the workplace, media strategies, and the ramificationsof technology in the workplace.
